“Companies that made the list focus on everything from reimagining clinical care, to making healthcare more accessible for underserved populations, to leveraging tech like AR/VR to improve surgical training.
These 150 winners were selected from a pool of over 13,000 companies,” according to CB Insights
Availity, the nation’s largest real-time health information network, works to solve communication challenges in healthcare by creating a richer, more transparent exchange of information among health plans, providers, and technology partners.
Availity’s suite of dynamic products, built on a powerful, intelligent platform, enables real-time collaboration for success in a competitive, value-based care environment. Availity facilitates billions of clinical, administrative, and financial transactions annually with a network of more than 2 million providers and thousands of health plans across the country.
The company’s flagship platform, Availity Essentials, makes it easier for providers to intuitively connect, communicate, and collaborate with thousands of health plans on eligibility, authorizations, claims, remittances, and other critical tasks. Additionally, Essentials’ multi-payer functionality, workflow automation, transaction capabilities, and HITRUST Common Security Framework certification makes the platform an appealing option for payers looking to upgrade from homegrown provider portals.
Essentials Pro, Availity’s revenue cycle management solution, helps hospitals and physician practices manage critical workflows throughout the entire revenue cycle, prevent denials, and receive payments faster without placing an additional burden on existing staff. Essentials Pro integrates seamlessly into the provider’s electronic health record. For example, Availity’s integration into Epic for end-to-end revenue cycle is used by more than 145 hospitals, health systems, and group practices across the nation, representing 112 million covered lives and 12 billion transactions every year.
Most recently, Availity’s acquisition of Diameter Health, positions Availity to deliver one of the strongest integrated clinical and claims data network and interoperability platforms in healthcare.
Our Upcycling Data™ technology automates the process of upcycling clinical data in real-time, turning inconsistent, multi-source and multi-format data into a robust longitudinal data asset. Matched with Availity’s existing clinical data gateway capabilities, providers and payers can innovate with value-based care arrangements, seamlessly exchange information exchange, and normalize structured and unstructured clinical data for a host of digitally enabled use cases.
