Availity‘s Clinical Data Gateway provides a central point of clinical connectivity between health plans and critical sources of patient information, including hospital EHRs, labs, health information exchanges, and state registries. Rather than establish point-to-point connectivity with individual data sources, health plans can leverage Availity’s nationwide connections to acquire clinical data that supports HEDIS®, measures risk and quality programs, prior authorizations, claims adjudication, and other health plan enterprise initiatives.
